**"Winter Weather Permitting"**

With the colder weather here we clarify "Weather Permitting" as the conditions at the start of our ride. We do not ride if ice or snow is on the roads or there is a strong possibility that we may encounter it. Cold temps, to date have not deterred us, our coldest start has been 9 degrees. If it is a planned club ride going outside the immediate area we rely on weather reports for that area. If it looks like it is a weather system that we will outride or won't effect us much during the ride we will probably go, however if it looks like a solid day or two of rain and storms, we will cancel.  If it is a simple breakfast ride and it is precipitating at our normal 8:30 am departure we will cancel. Extreme rides normally go on regardless of weather (with the exception of ice)  If there is ever a question about the status of a ride check in at the shop on Saturdays before 2 pm. We meet every Sunday, year round at 8:30 am for breakfast, "Weather Permitting," and as always you ride at your own risk.
